  • By Car - The Warren Building is located at 4300 Nebraska Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20016.
    Parking: There is a parking garage directly beneath the Warren Building. The entrance is on 4300 Nebraska Avenue. Anyone parking should drive to the end of either P1 or P2 level, take the bank of elevators marked Yuma, come up to the Terrace Level, make an immediate left and Claudio Grossman Hall is in front of you. Please be sure to pay for parking at the kiosk by the elevators in the parking garage, before heading up to the Terrace Level. If you were provided a parking code, the kiosk will prompt you to enter it along with your license plate number.

    Effective August 25, 2025, an active parking permit or daily payment is required in all AU/WCL parking facilities between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m., 7-days a week. Parking in residential neighborhoods is a violation of the Good Neighbor Parking Policy. Contact parking@american.edu with questions. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m, Monday through Friday.   • By Metro –Take the Red Line to Tenleytown/AU Metro Station. At the top of the first escalator bear right to take the next escalator to the street level. This will bring you to Wisconsin Avenue next to Best Buy entrance. Turn right and walk down Wisconsin Avenue, cross Albemarle Street, and walk one block to Tenley Circle. At the circle, (St. Ann’s Church on your right) take a right onto Yuma Street and the law school will on your left.

  • By Uber/Taxi – Please instruct the driver to drop you off at the Warren Building entrance which is accessible from Nebraska Ave.

    During the conference, the only entrances that will be accessible for entry are the Warren entrance and the parking garage entrance.
