Founded 40 years ago, TPRC has served as a place to discuss current research on information and communications policy. Envisioned as a forum for unbridled and controversial discussion, its programs document the pressing regulatory, antitrust, and legislative issues. In this session we would like to reflect on TPRC, its achievements, and the challenges ahead. The roundtable will also critically examine policy achievements and failures and the role of researchers in policy development and evaluation.
